WHEN: Friday, November 1st. 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM AND Saturday, November 2nd, 2013, 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM
WHERE: The Refinery Arts and Spirit Centre, 609 Dufferin Avenue, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Join us at the Refinery Arts & Spirit Centre in Saskatoon on November 1st and 2nd to hear presentations on the impacts of climate change on the prairies, sustainable energy alternatives, Indigenous perspectives on climate change, public health, eco-education, and much more!
The event is free, and all citizens are urged to attend. This will be an important opportunity for our community to come together and share information and concerns regarding climate change. This is your chance to learn more and to make your voice heard. Please mark your calendar.
The hearings will begin at 9:30 AM sharp each day, and presentations run for 30 minutes each, including questions from the audience. Lunch will be served at 12:00 PM both days. We are offering lunch, catered by Root Down Workers Co-operative Cafe, for a suggested donation of $5. Presentations will continue after lunch, and there will be a mid-afternoon coffee break, with complementary snacks and coffee. A supper break will follow before the Keynote Speakers present in the evening. For supper, we’d recommend checking out some of the great restaurants in the Broadway district.
